आधी रात घटी इस घटना के बाद जहां पूरा गांव लामबंद हो गया। वहीं ग्रामीणों ने मृतक के शव को भी नहीं उठने दिया।

बदायूं, जेएनएन। उसहैत थाना क्षेत्र के गांव भद्रा में पुलिस की पिटाई से वृद्ध की मौत होने का गंभीर मामला सामने आया है। आधी रात घटी इस घटना के बाद जहां पूरा गांव लामबंद हो गया। वहीं ग्रामीणों ने मृतक के शव को भी नहीं उठने दिया। मामले में पीडितों ने पुलिस पर वसूली के पैसे न देने पर वृद्ध की पीटकर हत्या करने का आरोप लगाया है। हालांकि घटना के बाद पुलिस अधिकारियों मामले की जांच कराने की बात कहीं है।

शनिवार की रात करीब साढे़ बारह उसैहत पुलिस सादा वर्दी में भद्रा गांव पहुंची। जिसके दौरान पुलिस ने वशीर के घर में दबिश दी। परिजनों के अनुसार वशीर आंगन में सो रहा था। पुलिस ने मच्छरदानी फाड़कर वशीर से बडे़ बेटे शकील के बारें में पूछा। आरोप है कि शकील के रिश्तेदारी में जाने की बात सुनते ही पुलिस ने अन्य लोगों की गिरफ्तारी करने की बात कहते हुए महिलाओं से बदसुलूकी करते हुए 50 हजार रुपए की डिमांड की।

परिजनों का आरोप है कि वशीर के विरोध करने पर पुलिस की पिटाई से उसकी मौत हो गई। जिसके बाद परिजनों के शोर मचाने पर एकत्रित हुए ग्रामीण मौके पर पहुंचे, तो एसओ सहित पुलिस कर्मी प्राइवेट गाड़ी में बैठकर भाग गए। जिसके बाद परिजनो और ग्रामीणों के हंगामा करने पर पुलिस के अधिकारी सहित प्रशासनिक अधिकारी मौके पर पहुंच गए। अधिकारियों के सामने परिजनों ने बताया कि चार दिन पहले भी एसओ समेत अन्य पुलिसकर्मी घर में घुसे थे।

उन्होेंने आरोप लगाया कि पुलिस ने गोकशी के मुकदमे में फंसाने की बात कहते हुए 50 हजार रुपये वसूले थे। घटना से पहले भी वह बकाया के 50 हजार रुपये और मांग कर रहे थे। इस मामले में एसपी सिटी जितेंद्र कुमार श्रीवास्तव का कहना है कि पोस्टमार्टम रिपोर्ट के बाद ही स्थिति साफ हो पाएगी। अभी कुछ नहीं कह सकते। सभी बिंदुओं पर जांच की जा रही है।
