group of civil society groups in Varanasi has decided to feed daily
wagers for 19 days from April 14, the birth anniversary of Bheem Rao
Ambedkar, a Dalit leader revered as the father of the Indian
Constitution.
Jan Mitra Nyas (People Friendly Trust), a public
charitable trust in collaboration of Akhil Bharat Varshiya Brahman
Mahasabha (All India grand council of Brahman) initiated " RajDulari
memorial NeoDalit community kitchen" for 300 family members of 59
families of daily wagers living in Chaukaghat area of Varanasi, Uttar
Pradesh for lunch and dinner with support of Ms.Parul Sharma and 200 Swedish donors.
The Varanasi-based non-profit organization works among Dalits and
attends to the mother and child health issues among the Musahar (rat
eaters) community and other deprived sections.
Indian Prime
Minister Narendra Modi, who imposed 21-day lockdown on March 25, wants
people to stay home, stay safe and stay alive. And on April 14, he
extended it to May 3 as the government’s continued efforts to contain
the coronavirus pandemic.
Our organization has distributed
ration to the tribal families in the interior hamlets of Sonebhadra,
Jaunpur, Ambedkar Nagar and Varanasi districts in co-operation with
local administration for the last ten days.
Now JMN initiated collaborate with others to help daily wagers who are severely affected by the nationwide lockdown.
Dalits and Other Backward caste communities predominate among the migrants stare at starvation because of the lockdown.
“The Raj Dulari memorial Neo Dalit community kitchen” is going to
provide lunch and dinner to families belonging to Scheduled Caste and
Other Backward Caste until 3 May.
Rakesh Ranjan, a local social
worker and Shruti Nagvanshi, managing trustee of Jan Mitra Nyas lead the
effort to reconcile various caste groups in the area.
On the other hand, Parul Sharma spearheads the mobile community kitchen and provides funds with the help of 200 local donors.
Ambedkar was born on April 14, 1891. He was a multi-faceted personality
and contributed significantly to the country in several different ways.
He was the principal architect of the Indian Constitution and a champion of Dalit rights and all underprivileged
He worked for the annihilation of caste, every form of discrimination in the country, and amelioration of Dalits.

काली मंदिर के निकट क्षेत्र में "प्रबुद्ध चेतना मंच" एवं "जनमित्र न्यास"
के द्वारा भारतीय मूल की स्वीडन निवासिनी "सुश्री पारूल शर्मा" के सहयोग से
" राजदुलारी स्मृति नव दलित सामुदायिक किचन" का शुरुआत किया गया । जिससे
इस क्षेत्र के 59 परिवारों के 300 लोगों तक दोनों समय का गर्म खाना घर तक
पहुँचाया जा रहा है । कोशिश है कि, न्यूनतम से न्यूनतम खर्च में हर दिन अलग
- अलग खाना उपलब्ध हो पाए, जिससे खाना पाने वाले परिवार को मजबूरी का
अहसास न होकर आत्मीयता की अनुभूति हो ।
इस सामुदायिक किचन से अनुसूचित
जाति एवं पिछड़ी जाति से जुड़े बन्द पड़े छोटे कामगारों, दुकानदारों, दिहाड़ी
मजदूरों को गर्म पका हुआ खाना उनके घर तक पहुंचाया जाता है । इन शहरी गरीब
इन परिवारों में किसी भी प्रकार का राशनकार्ड नही है । इन्हें किसी भी
प्रकार का राहत सामग्री भी नही मिल पाया था । 21 का लॉकडाउन पहले ही झेलकर
इनकी कमर टूट चुका है, कमाई ऐसा कि, बचत की कोई पूंजी पहले ही नही था ऐसे
में इन परिवारों के भोजन जैसी मूल जरूरत जो रोज अपने समय से सामने आकर खड़ी
हो जाती है, उनके जदोजहद को लॉकडाउन में थोड़ा आसान करने के लिए पं राकेश
रंजन त्रिपाठी (राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष राष्ट्रीय प्रबुद्ध चेतना मंच एवं प्रदेश
महासचिव संगठन अखिल भारतवर्षीय ब्राह्मण महासभा) ने अपने मन में संकल्प
लिया और इस रास्ते को थोड़ा सा सरल बना दिया जनमित्र न्यास और पारुल शर्मा
ने । सो पं राकेश रंजन त्रिपाठी जी क्षेत्र के उत्साही युवाओं की टीम के
साथ गर्म खाना लोगों के घर तक पहुंचा रहें हैं । इस मुहिम में उनके दोनों
बेटे सिद्धार्थ रंजन त्रिपाठी और ऋषभ त्रिपाठी भी बढ़ चढ़कर हाथ बंटा रहें
हैं । ये एक सच्चा नव दलित प्रक्रिया है , जो जातिवाद के खिलाफ क्षमायाचना
का प्रतीक है।
