Dear Lenin

On behalf of Vice President of the German Bundestag, Ms Claudia Roth, I want to thank you for the email and for your commitment.

She forwarded your email to the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs asking for support.

Nevertheless, I wanted to address a fundamental and structural problem in this matter: the contact level of the German government in India is the central government in New Delhi. Germany as a federal state has no bilateral relations with individual states in India. We hope that the German government will use the information as an opportunity to take action in a suitable form.

Best regards

Ali Mahdjoubi

To,
The Office of Ms Claudia Roth,
Vice President,

German Parliament,

Germany.

Dear Madam,

Sub: Diagnostic kit

As you know all the countries are facing a serious health  crisis emerged due to Covid 19. most of the nations were caught unprepared for such a challenge. In India the government in partnership with the state government has responded with all its might and resources to ensure that the problem is contained to a greater extent. Several governments are sharing their experiences with the Indian state and the health experts.

I believe Germany has an advanced diagnostic kit to fight this challenge. And I suggest you share it with India. You can consider sharing it with two states Uttar  Pradesh (UP) and Odisha. UP is the most populous state and has one of the largest migrating population. Migrants of other States  to travel through it. Additionally, it shares a long border with Nepal. Odisha is one state where the seed  of  Indo-German cooperation started during the time of Former Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru in the form of a Steel Plant in Rourkela. The state has a large number of migratory skilled and semi skilled population who are working across the country. Now they are returning back to their home. We are fighting an unpredictable battle. Together we can overcome this challenge.

May I request you to use your good office to persuade German Government to share as many numbers of the kits to these state as a mark of the cooperation between our countries.

Looking forward to your support.

Thanking you.

Yours sincerely

 Lenin Raghuvanshi
