To,

Dear Madam,

We have following suggestions about the female migrant workers stranded in other states in the make of COVID 19

1.   To create state wise database of the female migrant workers stranded in other states and issue special card to them so, they may get benefited with various Government schemes and health facilities.
2.  Ensure safe place to stay for them having basic facilities such as clean toilet and bathroom. Or the migrant female managing their own place to stay should be exempted from paying house/shop rent, water, electricity, and telephone bills.
3.   Provide them with adequate ration/cooked food and other essential items including the sanitary pad etc.
4.   Provide health facilities, nutritious diet and immunization to the pregnant migrant worker and children living with migrant workers.
5.   Direct State Government to ensure that these migrant female workers received their salary/wages.
6.   To start state wise helpline number for the migrant worker so, they may reach for help in need.
7.   Ensure that post COVID -19 these female migrant workers should be return back to their home and did not faced any type of discrimination.
8.   Provide allowance of minimum 2000 INR to these female migrant workers.
9. Appoint counselor or collaborate with the CSOs/NGOs working in area for providing counseling and psycho – social support to the female migrant worker.
10.                 Provide free transportation to the female migrant worker who wants to return back to their home when situation get normal.
11.                 Ensure the migrant female workers are exempted from paying the school fees of their children.

Looking forward for immediate and appropriate action.
